General Electric DS200ADMAH1A Analog to Digital Daughterboard (ADMA) Mark V Series. This daughterboard is compatible with a variety of GE drives and exciters. This board's aluminum faceplate has cutouts that make it easy to mount on top of the drive's (DPSC) board. This card buffers, filters, and converts analog and digital I/O fed to the drive once inserted. All system I/O is reliably read, transformed, and communicated when the DS200ADMAH1A board is used. This daughterboard has an additional twelve analog inputs in addition to the ones provided by the drive. This card also includes four analog outputs. The board's eight digital input and output ports can be used to relay digital I/O communications. This device has an integrated programmable logic device.
The logic device works to provide interface capabilities between the ADMA I/O and the DSPC processor buses by leveraging static RAM. Two LED indicators are displayed on the board, one green IMOK LED and one red FAIL LED, to notify users to any mistakes or malfunctions.
The device's installation instructions should be followed. This will verify that both the DS200ADMAH1A and the inserted drive function properly. Refer to the device manual and datasheet for detailed guidance to wiring and mounting the daughterboard to the DSPC. The maker of the Mark V series, General Electric, was the first to give technical support for this card.
