DS200TCPSG1A is a DC power supply board developed by GE. To transform 125 V dc power from PD to the necessary voltage levels, the Power Supply Board (TCPS) is situated in R and each of the four IO cores. These include, but are not limited to, items like servo valve current outputs, RTD power supply voltages, mA output power supply voltages, and microprocessor power supply voltages.
Each of the four cores has a power supply board that transforms 125 VDC power from the power distribution to the necessary voltage level. The TCPS boards don't have any software configurations or hardware jumpers.
The TCPS has a 125 VDC input voltage and outputs of +5 VDC, +24 VDC, +/- 15 VDC, and +/- 24 VDC. The Power Supply Board has three fuses, a 16-pin connector, and a 9-pin connector. There are several test points as well.
DS200TCPSG1A Connectors
2PL - Distributes the power supply voltages in a daisy chain form to the several boards.
Connector J1 transfers 125 V dc power from the TCPD board in the PD core to the TCPS board.
JC distributes power supply voltages for the TCQC board in cores R1, R2, and R3 and the TCCA board in core R5 power supply diagnostics.
JP1 - Distributes power supply voltages to the AAHA boards in the R core and to the TCDA boards in the digital cores Q11, Q21, and Q51.
JP2 - Equal to JP1. It is possible to utilize JP1 or JP2.
CCOM bus link on X1.
DS200TCPSG1A Configuration
The TCPS boards don't have any hardware jumpers or software configurations.
Installation
The power to the drive must be shut off in order to replace a fuse. The qualified servicer replacing the drive must be familiar with it and know how to properly disconnect it from power. The drive needs to be tested to make sure there is no power before working on the board. The ability to replace the fuses without removing the board depends on how the board is installed and how accessible it is. The four screws holding the board to the metal board rack can be removed with a screwdriver if necessary. The board's corners are secured by a screw.
