DS200TCRAG1A is a Relay Output Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark V LM Series used in GE Speedtronic turbine control systems. Up to 30 relays, designated K1 through K30, are housed on the TCRA, which is part of the digital cores. The digital IO cores each contain two of these boards. Only four relays are present on the TCRA board at position 4 of the Q11 core, and they are linked to the TCQE by the JO connector. Some applications employ these relays to control the gas manifold blow-off valves. Thirty relays are present in every other TCRA. To supply a power source to operate solenoids, the first 18 relays on TCRA in location 4 of "Q51" can be configured.
This configuration is also possible for the first 16 relays on the TCRA board in position 5 of the Q11 and Q51 cores. On the DTBC and DTBD terminal boards, hardware jumpers are used to do this. Using the power connectors J19 and J20, two extra contact outputs (#47 and #48) can be wetted on the TCRA board in position five of either Q11 or Q51. The DTBD board in one of the cores receives 120/240 V ac power through connectors J19 and J20 from the PD core.
For ignition transformers, these signals are typically employed. The TCDA boards in the digital cores write the signals to the TCRA boards that instruct them to open or close the relays. The TCQE board in the "R1" core sends signals to the TCRA board at position 4 of "Q11" in this manner. Q21's first 18 solenoid outputs are ineligible to be configured as solenoid power sources.
TCRA CONFIGURATION:
HARDWARE: The hardware configuration for the DTBC and DTBD terminal boards is done at the terminal board level, which powers the relays or converts them to solenoids.
SOFTWARE: The TCRA board does not have any software configuration.
TCRA CONTACT OUTPUT CIRCUITS:
Signals from the CSP are used to control the relays on the TCRA boards, which are then relayed to the STCA board through COREBUS and the IO Engines. The TCDA boards receive the signals from the STCA boards via the IONET after reading them. The instruction signals are then written by the TCDA board via the JO connector to energize the relays. The JS1 through JS8 connectors are used to connect the relay (open/close) to the DTBC and DTBD terminal boards.
