Technical Specifications
GE - IS200SPROS1A

The terminal board IS200SPROS1A is part of the General Electrics Speedtronic Mark VI gas turbine control.

The current state-of-the-art control for GE Turbines is the GE General Electric Mark VI Speedtronic Turbine Control System. It's a fully integrated control system with protection and monitoring for gas and steam turbine generators and mechanical drive applications. Mark VI is an associate of GE's Speedtronic product line, which had been around for decades.
The Speedtronic series went through several iterations, beginning with the Mark I in 1969. The Mark VI came with a PC-based operator interface that came pre-loaded with brand-specific software like CIMPLICITY graphics and the GE Control System Toolbox.
The Control Module, which comes in either a 13- or 21-slot standard VME card rack, is at the heart of the Mark VI Turbine Control System. The Control Module receives inputs via termination boards with barrier or box-type terminal blocks and passive signal conditioning.
Each I/O card has a TMS320C32 DSP processor that digitally filters data before converting it to IEEE-854 32-bit floating-point format. The data is then stored in dual port memory, which can be accessed via the onboard C32 DSP as well as the VME bus.
